National Twirling CorpsOur National Twirling Corps Team consists of our highest level of twirlers and dancers. Auditions are held every August to select members for this prestigious team. Routines incorporate high energy baton twirling, dance and prop manipulation, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and personality projection. Preferred candidates for this team must have a high level of commitment, dedication to the sport, strong technique, and must be a team player. Members of this team must participate in a weekly three hour production practice, a weekly one to two hour dance twirl class, and a weekly one hour ballet class. This team is required to perform at all competitions and be present at all practices and clinics. Members must commit to the September-July competition season. State Baton TeamOur State Baton Team is our beginner level team of athletes wishing to explore competition. This team has a focus on building twirling technique, rhythm/timing and teamwork. Routines incorporate high energy baton twirling and dance with a emphasis on personality projection. Members of this team must participate in a weekly one hour baton class and a weekly ballet class. Youth National BatonOur Youth National Team consists of our intermediate level twirlers between the ages of 10 and 13. Members of this team must participate in a weekly two hours baton class and a weekly one hour ballet class. This team has a focus on improving technique, rhythm/timing, and a strong emphasis on teamwork and personality projection. Students on this team need to be openminded as we heavily motivate them to learn new skills and moves. Senior National Dance Twirl BatonThis one hour dance-twirl baton team consists of members from our National Corps team. Twirlers not in National Corps wishing to join this team are welcome, but must audition. Dance-twirl routines utilize lyrical dance moves in harmony with baton twirling. This team has a strong focus on technique, lyrical dance moves, teamwork and grace. Members of this team must participate in a weekly one hour baton practice as well as a weekly one hour ballet class.
